Palm Treo 700p & Rainbow Six 3 Raven Shield
First off, the Palm Treo 700p looks like a cool gadget. If I ever get the money, I would love to get one of these. It can be connected to your laptop for connection to “Sprint or Verizon’s broadband wireless networks”. It has an SD expansion slot and has a 1.3 mega pixel camera. The keyboard looks a little small but I like a lot of the features.
I bought a $10 game from Best Buy last night, Rainbow Six 3, and can not get it installed. It keeps giving me an error when the install gets to the Stream.sso file. It states that file is corrupt and then gives me a cyclic redundancy error. I tried the fixes on the web but nothing works.

Laura (for those of you that don’t know: my girlfriend) has an older Treo 700w. At first I thought a QWERTY keyboard would rock, but from playing around with it - I’m still slower typing with that than with my regular phone keypad.
I also just realized that my spell-checker recognizes “QWERTY” as long as it’s all caps.
As for the game: I had an error like that years ago, but I think it had something to do with AOL 4.0. Look for the Ubisoft or other Customer Support number, or email them. I was going to link to the Ubisoft Support Page but it seems they’re suffering from Internal Server Errors. Hmpf! Forums?
Sounds like a damaged disc (possibly, maybe). Perhaps just dirty. In that case, it should be exchange-able.
