Not sure how safe this site is, but the two videos I watched (on Youtube) were pretty clean…
How it Should Have Ended - is a site that does cartoon parodies of… well, how most movies probably really should have ended. If I get time, I’ll write more about what I find… unless you know about the site - put something in the comments!

I think this was on Digg awhile back, from Variety.com -He-Man returns to big screen.
Upon reading the whole article, I noticed that not only is He-Man looking to make a comeback, but also Speed Racer, Voltron, Street Fighter, and the DC Comics character the Green Arrow.
Most interesting was this line:
“Silver Pictures, which is turning the Japanese animated series ‘Speed Racer’ into a live-action film to be directed by Larry and Andy Wachowski…”
In case you aren’t fully aware, the Wachowski Brothers are known (probably most notably) for The Matrix.
I’ll have to look into these ‘new’ movies…

From Lifehacker: Family: Free movies this summer for kids of all ages.
From the write-up:
Did you know that most movie theaters/movie chains offer free family-oriented movies during the summer on weekday mornings? Parenting blog Raising4Boys.com has compiled a pretty comprehensive list of all the theaters in the U.S. that participate in this program.
As usual, other cool tips abound in the comments.

Saw this on Engadget. Some commenters on Digg thought that the movie corp’s would just change the key now that it’s in the open. They won’t. I have to give them credit to be smarter than that - because now that someone knows where the key is, even if it changes, it would only take the smallest of programs to scan a disc and discover it.
No, they’ll definitely move it. And change it. And change the way it works.
But then… the cycle will begin again.
* NOTE: I can honestly say I’ve never copied (even legitimately) an HD-DVD or Blu-Ray disc, or even a regular ol’ DVD [yet]. I do not support Piracy, however I also do not support DRM - I do not believe a person should have to pay $29 for a movie that they have already purchased for $19, simply for the ability to watch it in a much smaller, lower quality format (and other examples along those lines).

Looks like Al Pacino will be in the Ocean’s 13 movie. Maybe having my volume way down caused me to miss something, but the trailer didn’t really put me on edge. Please, please, please don’t be a flop!
Makezine has a Stained Glass PC case that looks awesome.
And while you’re modding your case and throwing out old parts, don’t get rid of a burned out LCD monitor! Make it a corkboard instead! I would so totally put one of these on my office desk if I had one. Guess I’ll be watching the garbage around here a little closer.
Also, in case you’re a “one-day-I’ll-learn-to-build-my-own-electronic-something” like I am, here’s a Homebuilt Synth (more from Make today). I’m mostly linking there because I wanted to come back and check out those related links at the bottom of the article.

I’m not a big Transformers Geek, but I am definitely going to see this movie in theater. I noticed the full trailer was finally up, and I think it looks pretty awesome.
